Meet Catherine

Hi, I’m Catherine - founder of Fine Lashes and Brows, lash & brow specialist, and currently training towards being an aesthetics practitioner.  But my story didn’t start in a beauty salon in the UK, it all began in a small town in southern Mindanao, Philippines, where poverty was common and opportunities felt limited.

I studied Hotel and Restaurant Management back home because it felt like the most practical path.  But deep down, I knew it wasn’t the career I wanted forever.  I dreamed of something more… something creative, empowering, and mine.

Moving to the UK changed everything. Suddenly, the sky wasn’t just the limit, it felt wide open. I found beauty, and with it, a passion I didn’t know I was allowed to dream of.

Fine Lashes and Brows was born from that passion.  It’s not just a salon, it’s a space where clients feel seen, be confident, and taken care of. I specialise in natural looking lash extensions, precision brow shaping, and now also to offer aesthetic treatments that enhance your beauty without hiding who you are.

I’m also proud to now teach professional lash courses, helping others step into this industry with confidence.  Mentoring new artists, especially women who might’ve once doubted themselves just the way I once did, has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
